EFT For Self Confidence

by Wal on February 17, 2015

Self Confidence BoostThis article gives you a step by step instruction on how to use EFT to create strong self confidence. Lack of self confidence leads to lack of belief in self, destructive self-talk, lack of motivation, feeling like a failure, feeling weak and powerless, and so on. On the other hand, strong self confidence leads to charisma, strength, courage, determination, a positive attitude, and so on.

There are many methods used around the world for creating self confidence, such as affirmations, hypnosis, etc. But unless you get rid of negative, conflicting beliefs about your self, you will never achieve total self confidence. You can use the following EFT process to implant powerful positive beliefs, remove negative conflicting beliefs, and get your belief system working congruently for you so you can achieve total self confidence.

EFT Setups For Self Confidence

Transform your beliefs about self confidence by using EFT on the following setups. I begin by getting SUDS and/or muscle tested figures for “I have total self confidence” and for “I don’t have self confidence” and for “I have self doubt“. Then, after clearing all of these EFT setups, I re-check SUDS and the muscle tested figures. If the figure for the negative statements is more than zero out of ten, or more than zero out of one hundred, then that tells me there is more to be done and I would try some other EFT procedure. Nevertheless, I find the following setups usually get the whole job done and sometimes with a better result than standard EFT alone.

How To Do EFT For Self Confidence

EFT for self confidenceEach of the below statements represents a belief. If the statement is negative and more than 0% true then create an EFT setup to reduce the figure to 0%. If the statement is positive and less than 100% true then create an EFT setup to raise the figure to 100%. I use muscle testing to determine the figure.
For more information about how to create an EFT setup, see the instructions that appear upon the EFT Tapping Chart here.
For information about how to do muscle testing, click here.

Again, start with getting the SUDS or muscle check to find out how true is the belief “I have total self confidence” and “I don’t have self confidence” and “I have self doubt“, and then do EFT on the following list. When the list is completed, check “I have total self confidence” and “I don’t have self confidence” and “I have self doubt” again.

Look out for the bonus step at the end of the article to help strengthen belief in self.

Step 1 Of 5

The first step is to implant the belief “I have total self confidence“. You do this by exclaiming out loud and with great certainty “I have total self confidence“. After each exclamation, do a round of tapping. I usually find that the point under the nose needs a lot of tapping in each round. Use the muscle check to establish if the belief has been strongly implanted. It doesn’t need to be at 100% at this stage. Getting rid of opposing beliefs will move the figure towards 100%.

Step 2 Of 5

The next step is to remove opposing beliefs by doing EFT on the following setups:

  1. I want to get rid of self doubt.
  2. I want to keep self doubt.
  3. I am willing to get rid of self doubt.
  4. I am not willing to get rid of self doubt.

Check again how true is the belief “I have total self confidence” and “I don’t have self confidence” and “I have self doubt“. If the figures are less than 100% and more than 0% and more than 0% respectively then there is more EFT to be done.

Step 5 Of 5

Re-check daily if necessary until you are convinced that the beliefs have held. Sometimes old triggers can affect newly established beliefs. If this happens then repeat the above.
