EFT For Pure Awareness

This article gives you a step by step instruction on how to use EFT to move towards becoming pure awareness. Using this technique, you can implant the belief that you are already pure awareness and delete the opposing beliefs that say that you are not. This technique is useful for people who want to purify the mind as part of their self development.

EFT Setups For Developing Pure Awareness

pure awarenessTransform your beliefs about being pure awareness by using EFT on the following setups. I begin by getting SUDS and/or a muscle tested figures for “I am pure awareness” and for “I am not pure awareness“. Then, after clearing all of these EFT setups, I re-check SUDS and the muscle tested figures. If the figure for the negative statement is more than zero out of ten, or more than zero out of one hundred, then that tells me there is more to be done and I would try some other EFT procedure. Nevertheless, I find the following setups usually get the whole job done and sometimes with a better result than standard EFT alone.

How To Do EFT For Pure Awareness

EFT for pure awarenessEach of the below statements represents a belief. If the statement is negative and more than 0% true then create an EFT setup to reduce the figure to 0%. If the statement is positive and less than 100% true then create an EFT setup to raise the figure to 100%. I use muscle testing to determine the figure.

Again, start with getting the SUDS or muscle check to find out how true is the belief “I am pure awareness” and for “I am not pure awareness“, and then do EFT on the following list. When the list is completed, check “I am pure awareness” and for “I am not pure awareness“again.

Step 1 Of 5

The first step is to implant the belief “I am pure awareness“. You do this by exclaiming out loud and with strong conviction “I am pure awareness“. After each exclamation, do a round of tapping. I usually find that the point under the nose needs a lot of tapping in each round. Use the muscle check to establish if the belief has been strongly implanted. It doesn’t need to be at 100% at this stage. Getting rid of opposing beliefs will move the figure towards 100%.

Step 2 Of 5

The next step is to remove opposing beliefs by doing EFT on the following setups:

  1. I want to get rid of the belief that I am not pure awareness.
  2. I want to keep the belief that I am not pure awareness.
  3. I am willing to get rid of the belief that I am not pure awareness.
  4. I am not willing to get rid of the belief that I am not pure awareness.
  5. I am willing to do whatever it takes to get rid of the belief that I am not pure awareness.
  6. I am unwilling to do whatever it takes to get rid of the belief that I am not pure awareness.
  7. It’s safe for me to get rid of the belief that I am not pure awareness.
  8. It’s not safe for me to get rid of the belief that I am not pure awareness.
  9. It’s safe for others for me to get rid of the belief that I am not pure awareness.
  10. It’s not safe for others for me to get rid of the belief that I am not pure awareness.
  11. I deserve to get rid of the belief that I am not pure awareness.
  12. I don’t deserve to get rid of the belief that I am not pure awareness.
  13. It’s possible for me to get rid of the belief that I am not pure awareness.
  14. It’s impossible for me to get rid of the belief that I am not pure awareness.
  15. I give myself permission to get rid of the belief that I am not pure awareness.
  16. I don’t give myself permission to get rid of the belief that I am not pure awareness.
  17. I am afraid to get rid of the belief that I am not pure awareness.
  18. I am not afraid to get rid of the belief that I am not pure awareness.

  50. There is no problem whatsoever, under any conditions whatsoever, that prevents me in any way, shape or form from getting rid of the belief that I am not pure awareness.

  3. I am willing to be pure awareness.

  6. I am unwilling to do whatever it takes to be pure awareness.
  7. It’s safe for me to be pure awareness.
  8. It’s not safe for me to be pure awareness.
  9. It’s safe for others for me to be pure awareness.
  10. It’s not safe for others for me to be pure awareness.
  11. I deserve to be pure awareness.
  12. I don’t deserve to be pure awareness.
  13. It’s possible for me to be pure awareness.
  14. It’s impossible for me to be pure awareness.
  15. I give myself permission to be pure awareness.

Step 4 Of 5

Check again how true is the belief “I am pure awareness” and how untrue “I am not pure awareness“.

Step 5 Of 5

Re-check daily if necessary until you are convinced that the beliefs have held. Daily reaffirming “I am pure awareness” may be needed for a few weeks. Sometimes old triggers can affect newly established beliefs. If this happens then repeat the above 5 steps.

Bonus Step

Adyashanti says, “First, we must find out who we are not. We can call this the way of subtraction. In the Christian tradition they call this via negativa, the negative path. In the Hindu tradition of Vedanta they call this neti neti, neither this, nor that”. We have identified with that which is not pure awareness.
