EFT For Happiness

This article is about how to create happiness as a way of life. In the book and film, The Secret, and in other books and films about manifesting what you want, they say you should create positive and happy states and think positive and happy thoughts. Here is how to create happiness with EFT.

EFT Setups For Happiness

EFT for happinessTransform your life with happiness by using EFT on the following setups (see the steps below). I begin by getting SUDS and/or a muscle tested figures for “I am happy” and for “I am unhappy“. Then, after clearing all of the EFT setups, I re-check SUDS and the muscle tested figures. If the figure for the negative statement is more than zero out of ten, or more than zero out of one hundred, then that tells me there is more to be done and I would either repeat this procedure or try some other EFT procedure. Nevertheless, I find the following setups usually get the whole job done and sometimes with a better result than standard EFT alone.

Each of these statements represents a belief. If the statement is negative and more than 0% true then create an EFT setup to reduce the figure to 0%. If the statement is positive and less than 100% true then create an EFT setup to raise the figure to 100%. I use muscle testing to determine the figure.

Again, start with getting the SUDS or muscle check to find out how true is the belief “I am happy” and for “I am unhappy“, and then do EFT on the following list. When the list is completed, check “I am happy” (it should not be less than 100%) and for “I am unhappy” (it should be no more than 0%).

By the way, look for the bonus at the end of Step 5.

Step 1 Of 5

EFT for happinessThe first step is to implant the belief “I am happy“. You do this by exclaiming out loud and with great certainty “I am happy“. After each exclamation, do a round of tapping. I usually find that the point under the nose needs a lot of tapping in each round. Use the muscle check to establish if the belief has been strongly implanted. It doesn’t need to be at 100% at this stage. Getting rid of opposing beliefs in Steps 2 and 3 will move the figure for “I am happy” towards 100%.

The next step is to remove opposing beliefs by doing EFT on the following list that you turn into EFT setups. Each item on the list is either a positive or a negative statement. Your goal is to get the positive statements up to 100% true and the negative statements down to 0% true.

  1. I want to get rid of unhappiness.
  2. I want to keep unhappiness.
  3. I am willing to get rid of unhappiness.
  4. I am not willing to get rid of unhappiness.
  5. I am willing to do whatever it takes to get rid of unhappiness.
  6. I am unwilling to do whatever it takes to get rid of unhappiness.
  7. It’s safe for me to get rid of unhappiness.
  8. It’s not safe for me to get rid of unhappiness.
  9. It’s safe for others for me to get rid of unhappiness.
  10. It’s not safe for others for me to get rid of unhappiness.
  11. I deserve to get rid of unhappiness.
  12. I don’t deserve to get rid of unhappiness.
  13. It’s possible for me to get rid of unhappiness.
  14. It’s impossible for me to get rid of unhappiness.
  15. I give myself permission to get rid of unhappiness.
  16. I don’t give myself permission to get rid of unhappiness.
  17. I am afraid to get rid of unhappiness.
  18. I am not afraid to get rid of unhappiness.
  19. I am afraid that I’ll lose at least part of my identity if I get rid of unhappiness.
  20. I am not afraid that I’ll lose at least part of my identity if I get rid of unhappiness.
  21. I am afraid of the consequences of getting rid of unhappiness.
  22. I am not afraid of the consequences of getting rid of unhappiness.
  23. I believe I can easily get rid of unhappiness.

The next step is to remove even more opposing beliefs by doing EFT on the following list that you turn into EFT setups. Each item on the list is either a positive or a negative statement. Your goal is to get the positive statements up to 100% true and the negative statements down to 0% true.

  1. I want to be happy.
  2. I don’t want to be happy.
  3. I am willing to be happy.
  4. I am not willing to be happy.
  5. I am willing to do whatever it takes to be happy.
  6. I am unwilling to do whatever it takes to be happy.
  7. It’s safe for me to be happy.
  8. It’s not safe for me to be happy.
  9. It’s safe for others for me to be happy.
  10. It’s not safe for others for me to be happy.
  11. I deserve to be happy.

Check again how true is the belief “I am happy” and how untrue “I am unhappy“. If the figures are less than 100% and more than 0% respectively then there is more EFT to be done.

It takes about four weeks to firmly establish a new belief within the unconscious mind. When you complete steps 2 and 3 (above) you remove inner conflicts and energy disruptions that may sabotage the positive belief and so now is the time to firmly establish and reinforce the positive belief. Each and every day, for the next 28 days, reinforce the positive belief “I am happy” by tapping this statement, “I am happy“, into each of the tapping points for four rounds of tapping.

Bonus Step – Live A Life Of Happiness

Repeat the above process with the following setups, this time testing for “I live a life of happiness“, which should be no less than 100%, and “I don’t live a life of happiness” which should be no more than 0%.

  1. I want to live a life of happiness.
  2. I don’t want to live a life of happiness.
  3. I am willing to live a life of happiness.
  4. I am not willing to live a life of happiness.
  5. I am willing to do whatever it takes to live a life of happiness.
  6. I am unwilling to do whatever it takes to live a life of happiness.
  7. It’s safe for me to live a life of happiness.
  8. It’s not safe for me to live a life of happiness.
  9. It’s safe for others for me to live a life of happiness.
  10. It’s not safe for others for me to live a life of happiness.
  11. I deserve to live a life of happiness.
  12. I don’t deserve to live a life of happiness.
  13. It’s possible for me to live a life of happiness.
  14. It’s impossible for me to live a life of happiness.
  15. I give myself permission to live a life of happiness.

If you get to this point and you still don’t feel happy then that means there are other feelings that you are also feeling that are masking the happiness. If you were here in my with me we would track down each of those feelings and process them similarly to the above. Ask yourself “What feelings am I feeling that are not in harmony with happiness?” and do the procedures on the answers
